Goal: To demonstrate your mastery of the notes in first position

How to Complete the Assignment:

• Ascending: Start at the bottom left with Low E. Say and play each note from left to right, moving up one line at a time

• Descending: Once you have played the very top line on the left (Middle E & High E), move to the right side of the page and move from top to bottom. This means to start with High A and move your way through each line (left to right) and then moving down one line at a time
